It is our intention that Jagriti International web site be accessible to users in developing countries, where computers may be slower and running older versions of browser software, or where connection to the Internet is over local phone lines which may be poorly maintained and subject to low data bandwidth rates and frequent disconnections.

To this end, we have tried to make as judicious a use as possible of graphics and other decorative elements, especially on those pages within the site whose primary readership may be from the developing world. All of our pages should be fully operational to users who are browsing the web with image-display turned off, or using a text-only browser such as Lynx.

We appreciate any feedback from users connecting over slow modems as to how well we have or have not met our goal.
