Jagriti's Bridging Worlds Workshops bring
together young women leaders from our partner women's organizations
in Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Nepal. For most of these
women this is their first opportunity to travel and participate
in this type of workshop. At the workshop they will learn and
practice public speaking, sharing with their colleagues the
work and dreams of their women's group. As they network and
create women-to-women bridges, a strengthening of the collective
mission to serve and empower women becomes tangible. In each
country the workshops will also feature the democratic election
of four Emerging Leaders to participate in Jagriti's 2005 leadership
training program in the U.S. Imagine the difference being elected

We welcome all levels of donations to make these events possible.

and estimated costs for each Workshop. In addition, Jagriti's
six 2003 Emerging Leaders will also be attending each workshop
and participating in our Awakening Journeys.
