Every once in a while, an opportunity
is offered that draws on all of the eclectic, seemingly random
and disconnected experiences that many of us have. And so it
was that when BLU MOON Group was offered the opportunity to
work with Jagriti International, one could hear a collective
"aha, now it all makes sense" being muttered as the principles
of BLU MOON Group jumped at the chance to use their backgrounds
in 3rd world development, sponsorship procurement, public relations
and fundraising.
BLU MOON Group specializes in brand management and sponsorship
procurement, with an emphasis on strategic consulting, fundraising,
and communications for issues and causes. The owners of the
firm, Judy Diethelm and Leslie Berliant, have worked with a
wide range of organizations and corporations including The Jackie
Robinson Foundation, The Celebrity Players Tour, MoveOn.org,
the HomeCare Workers Union, the Independent Cities Association,
RADD (Recording Artists, Actors and Athletes Against Drunk Driving),
The African-American Institute, The Special Olympics of Southern
California and many others.

Judy has an extensive background in creating mutually beneficial
sponsorship opportunities for corporations to support the important
work of Community Benefit organizations while meeting their
own marketing and publicity goals. In addition, she has a knack
for helping new organizations and ideas develop into recognizable
brands. Leslie has worked with a variety of organizations, helping
them to communicate their message and develop strategies for
meeting their advocacy, membership and fundraising goals. She
also has a degree in political science and history with a focus
on developing countries and an advanced degree in Women's Studies
and history. In addition, both women are well traveled and actively
involved in global initiatives for a better, more just world.
In fact, it was their mutual involvement in the International
Peace Movement that first brought them together.

Now, working closely with Jagriti International board and the
visiting emerging leaders, we have conducted a series of intimate
salon events for friends of Jagriti to get to know the emerging
leaders, the programs that the foundation supports and to become
financial supporters of the organization. In addition, we are
working on increasing Jagriti International's publicity and
press coverage, putting the important and unique work of the
foundation into the general consciousness.
The philosophy behind BLU MOON Group is to continually replicate
the idea that "once in a blue moon the stars align, and a truly
unique and wonderful experience is possible." With the collaboration
between Jagriti International and BLU MOON Group, the stars
promise to be aligning often! |
