Getting Connected

by Jaime Lasater
Executive Assistant, UCSB Work Study

As rapid globalization continues to produce a wide variety of media, the internet has become a highly important means of communication. That's why Jagriti International is getting connected! We have recently linked Jagriti International to numerous sites to spread the word and achieve greater visibility. Now anyone browsing www.goabroad.com or www.idealist.org, to name a few, is just a click away from embarking on the many possibilities that Jagriti International has to offer. Not only are we connected to big names, such as Volunteer Match, www.volunteermatch.org but we also have the ability to publicize our travel and volunteer opportunities on these sites. Linking has already proven quite successful, and we receive daily correspondence from numerous individuals interested in our Bridging World's and Awakening Journey programs. Check us out at www.istc.umn.edu, www.studyabroad.com, or www.workingabroad.com and go to the appropriate search engine and see how people are getting connected to Jagriti International!
