Celebrate the New Year in India
What better way to celebrate the New Year than by joining
us on an
"Awakening Journey" to India from December
28 to January 12, 2003, where we
will be visiting grassroots women's groups in New
Delhi and in the states of
Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. On January 7-9 participants
will also have
the unique opportunity to participate in a Jagriti
Workshop with emerging
women leaders from our 24 partner groups in India.
This will be the perfect
forum for a meaningful exchange of ideas and information
about the roles and
work of women from different parts of the world. Opportunities
for
sightseeing and supporting India's economy (i.e. shopping!)
will also be
