In addition to our two programs,
Bridging Worlds and
Awakening Journeys, Jagriti International offers "interaction" events as
a means to awaken participants to their own potential
and role in today's global world. These events, conducted
around the world, include lectures, seminars, workshops
and retreats that are designed to be interactive, empowering,
educational and inspiring.
|
Jagriti International
special interaction events aim to:
|
| 1. |
raise awareness
about the work of women's organizations around the
world |
| 2. |
enhance the participants
skills and knowledge around a specific topic, e.g.
trafficking of women, micro-credit, public speaking,
working in conflict situations, etc. |
| 3. |
provide participants
with opportunities for networking, sharing and making
new friends |
| 4. |
provide the space,
time and activities for awakening participants to
their own potential and role in the world. |
|
Jagriti Interaction Events may include lectures, one day
seminars, workshops and retreats. Jagriti International
would be happy to organize this type of "interaction
event" in your community. In the United States and
Europe all proceeds from the events go toward supporting
our partner women's organizations. In developing countries,
costs of the these special events are normally covered
by the Jagriti International. For examples of these events
please read about our Bridging Worlds Workshops in India
and Nepal.
